FARA is facing strong international expansion and we are seeking highly motivated



Overall responsibility for procurement, supplier management, warehouse operations and logistics for our Nordics business activity.

Reports to: Head of Operations and Supply Chain

Job Location: Trondheim (FARA office), travel may be required

Contract: Employment contract, full time


  • Strategic Planning and development of procurement and logistics
  • Coordinate deliveries in cooperation with Sales and Project Delivery to execution
  • Optimize supplier portfolio, including securing competitiveness, volume and delivery
  • Maintain price lists against costs
  • Develop and manage FARA document archive within own area
  • Follow-up and negotiation
  • Lead and supervise Procurement function
  • Lead and supervise Logistics and Warehouse function
  • Ensure structure and processes according to QA standards
  • Quality control of goods and services within own area
  • Initiate and manage improvements in SCM processes
  • Lead Supply Chain Team (2 members)



  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of import/export requirements and procurement from countries outside Norway
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and influencing skills
  • Self-organized, methodical, and promoter of ‘we can do anything’ mind-set
  • A problem solver, pragmatic, ambitious, and a team player
  • Flexible, structured and systematic
  • Proven ability to work within tight deadlines in a complex industry
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English


  • Higher Education background in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Experience from public tender process
